The Connley Fishing Diamond Slow Pitch Jigging Spin 6'6" brings the incredibly effective action of slow pitch jigging to anglers who prefer spinning tackle. Available in a 260g Heavy and 300g Extra Heavy model, these rods feature the thin, flexible action needed to properly lift and kick a slow pitch jig through the water while maintaining the strength and backbone required to handle hard-fighting saltwater species. The compact 6'6" design provides excellent control when working jigs vertically around reefs, wrecks, and offshore structure.

Available in a 6'6" length, each rod is equipped with a lightweight graphite reel seat, Fuji Silicon Nitride spinning guides, and comfortable EVA foam grips. As part of our Diamond Series, these rods combine premium components with a specialized slow pitch design, providing the sensitivity and lightweight feel needed to work a jig effectively while maintaining the durability required for demanding saltwater fishing.

The Diamond Slow Pitch Jigging Spin is an excellent choice for targeting mahi, blackfin tuna, snapper, grouper, kingfish, sharks, and a variety of other offshore and bottom species. Pair it with a Shimano Saragosa 6000-10000 spinning reel, selecting the reel size based on your target species, depth, and fishing conditions. Choose the 260g Heavy for a lighter setup or step up to the 300g Extra Heavy when additional jig weight and power are needed.
