The Connley Fishing Blue Young Guns Kingfish Lite 15-50 7' is a specialized conventional live bait rod originally designed for SKA tournament anglers who demand maximum sensitivity when slow trolling light line. Built on a fast-tapered 15-50 lb blank with an extremely soft tip, the Kingfish Lite allows live baits to swim naturally while giving anglers the sensitivity and soft action needed for light-line kingfish fishing. As the rod loads under pressure, it transitions into the backbone needed to fight quality fish while maintaining the light, responsive feel that makes this rod so unique.

Available in a 7' length, each rod is equipped with a silver American Tackle aluminum reel seat, an aluminum gimbal, comfortable EVA foam grips, and additional conventional ceramic guides positioned along the blank to help keep the line from contacting the rod when it is fully loaded. Finished with our signature blue and silver Blue Young Guns Series wrap, the Kingfish Lite combines quality components with a specialized light-line design built specifically for serious live bait fishing.

The Kingfish Lite 15-50 is an excellent choice for slow trolling live baits for kingfish and other pelagic species where a soft tip and light line are essential. Pair it with an Avet LX-sized conventional reel spooled with 20 lb line for an exceptionally balanced live bait setup, with 15-20 lb line being the ideal range for getting the most out of this rod's soft action and responsive feel.
