The Connley Fishing Blue Young Guns Tortugas 30-60 is a powerful, all-purpose conventional boat rod built on our very own fast-tapered Connley Fishing E-glass blank. Designed with a super-sensitive tip section that quickly transitions into a serious amount of backbone, the Tortugas gives anglers the sensitivity needed to detect the bite with the lifting power required to pull big, stubborn fish away from reefs, wrecks, and structure. It shares many of the characteristics of our popular Kingfish 20-50 but steps up the pulling power for anglers targeting larger fish and fishing heavier tackle.

Available in both 6'6" and 7' lengths, each rod is equipped with a silver aluminum reel seat, aluminum gimbal, heavy-duty turbo-style ceramic ring guides, a 12" EVA foam foregrip, and a 10" EVA foam rear grip. Finished in our signature blue and silver Blue Young Guns Series wrap, the Tortugas 30-60 combines a durable E-glass blank with heavy-duty components to create a dependable rod for demanding inshore and offshore fishing.

The Tortugas 30-60 is an excellent choice for targeting grouper, snapper, kingfish, sailfish, mahi, tuna, bonito, tarpon, cobia, striped bass, and a wide variety of other hard-fighting species. It excels at live bait fishing, kite fishing, drifting reefs, and bottom fishing where additional lifting power is needed. Pair it with an Avet LX, Accurate 600, or Shimano Talica 20-sized conventional reel spooled with 40 lb line for a powerful, balanced setup capable of handling just about anything you encounter on the water.
