The Connley Fishing Diamond Long-Cast Spin 7'10" is designed for anglers who want additional casting distance without sacrificing the power and versatility of a premium spinning rod. Available in 12-25 lb, 20-40 lb, and 30-50 lb classes, the longer 7'10" design provides excellent casting ability from the surf, pier, jetty, or boat. The 12-25 offers the lightest action for casting lures and working the surf, the 20-40 adds more power for larger inshore and offshore fish, and the 30-50 provides the strongest option for throwing large topwaters and targeting powerful pelagic species.

Available in a 7'10" length, each rod is equipped with a premium ALPS aluminum reel seat, Fuji Silicon Nitride spinning guides, and comfortable EVA foam grips. The Diamond Long-Cast Spin 12-25 is an excellent choice for snook, tarpon, jacks, and other inshore species and pairs well with a Shimano Saragosa 5000-6000 for throwing bucktails, topwaters, and other artificial lures. The 20-40 pairs well with a Saragosa 8000-10000 and adds the power needed for tarpon, mahi, and light offshore fishing, including pitching or swimming ballyhoo around weed lines. For larger fish, the 30-50 pairs well with a Saragosa 14000 or larger spinning reel and is an excellent choice for casting large topwaters and tuna poppers to powerful offshore species.
