Our Slow Pitch Flat Fall Jigs are a totally new concept specifically designed for use with our Slow Pitch Jigging rods. These new jigs feature a special UV coating that shines and helps the fish to see the jig from far away in deeper water.

Description

With this new style of jig fishing, there is very little movement by the angler, and it’s not tiring at all like traditional jigging rods are. All of the action is in the extra soft bend of the slow pitch rod.

Drop the jig down to the desired depth, then crank it up a few cranks to load the rod and feel the rod bend. As the rod straightens back out, Lift the rod and crank a good turn on the reel and allow the rod to bend again.

Ninety percent of the bites are on the fall, but you will likely feel the bite when lifting the rod.

The tip snaps the jig up and then the jig free-falls back down into the strike zone. After a couple of short seconds, that fall ends, so you have to develop a rhythm, half-turns, or full turns of the reel methodically to load the rod. Usually, I make five or six cranks, and then I free-spool the jig back down.”

With Slow Pitch Jigs, don’t drop and rip your metal jig back to the surface. Instead, try to keep your jig in the exact depths where you feel that the fish are suspending.

When using a specific slow pitch jigging rod along with these new jigs used, the presentation truly mimics a disabled baitfish fluttering and falling instead of fleeing.

Returns & Exchanges

Shipping & Return Policy

At Connley Fishing, we understand that sometimes you might receive a rod that feels too light, too stiff, or just not what you originally expected. We will gladly accept any rod for a refund or exchange within 30 days after you receive it. Just mail the new rod back to us with a note explaining what you would like us to do. There will be a $30 charge for return FedEx shipping and handling if we are mailing you a new replacement rod.

Warranty

Connley rods are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for the lifetime of the original owner. A sales receipt or proof of purchase is required. Click here to Make a Claim.

  • The Connley factory will inspect the rod to determine the cause of the breakage.
  • For damage determined to have occurred due to a defect, Connley Fishing will, at the company’s discretion, either repair or replace the product at no charge. Return shipping and handling is $30.
  • Damages occurring due to neglect, accident, or normal wear and tear will, at the company’s discretion, be repaired or replaced for a specific fee.
  • A full estimate will be provided for your approval before any fees are levied.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • The Connley Fishing Product if it has been modified or repaired by a person other than an authorized Connley Fishing dealer
  • Damage resulting from causes other than defects in materials and workmanship, including but not limited to accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper assembly, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.
  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including but not limited to damage or deterioration to the surface finish, aesthetics, or appearance of the rod. (i.e. cork or foam material)
