Our newest addition to our Slow Pitch Jigging rods lineup is now here! These new Japanese-style rods are 7’ and come with acid-wrapped Titanium guides which drastically reduce weight and have the quality and durability you need to last for many years of abuse in the harsh saltwater environment. These new rod blanks come in 2 sizes and are a beautiful blend of Carbon Fiber and Graphite presenting the perfect action with just enough power to keep pressure and pull fish away from the reef before the hungry sharks close in. We are all thoroughly impressed with how nice these rods came out and we know they will be exactly what our customers need for the jigging craze! These light action rods will lift and kick the jigs laterally while spreading the jigs over a far wider area than traditional jigs of the past. You will fight the fish with the reel more than the rod….. no more rod pumps like you would normally do. These rods come with X-Grip split rear grips, all Alps Titanium framed guides, and a lightweight Alps carbon fiber trigger reel seat. These Slow Pitch rods are unusually thin and strong yet very flexible giving you more sensitivity and extreme durability with a super-light action rod. The slow pitch jigs mimic a wounded fish trying to swim up and away from the bottom and descending slowly back down as they free fall. These jigs always seem to outfish every rod on the boat for us…. Even live bait!! It takes some practice but you will soon see what all the talk is about!
