All guides are under wrapped  so they never touch the blank and then double wrapped with black thread to ensure maximum strength. This is the lightest e-glass rod we build with super action for use with lighter lines and still gives you plenty of lifting power. Great rod for Mackerel, Jacks, Snook, Fluke and Flounder.
