We designed these with the more extended rear split grip which is perfect for using the extremely popular and favored for the slow pitch jigs. The Carbon Fiber blanks are very lightweight, making a difference when jigging for extended periods. The Fuji K Frame guides are top quality and will last a lifetime! We realized after the fact what a tremendous All-Purpose rod this rod truly is. You can add an 8000 size reel for jigging offshore, or a smaller 6000 for inshore fishing for Striper, Fluke, or Snook. I would also suggest using this combo offshore on the weed lines for Mahi.
